THE AUCTIONS

The profound irony of selling people with consent, to combat the selling of people who have no voice and no choice, is entirely deliberate. Also, subtly using the embodied power of sensuality, of bodily autonomy, sovereignty, and righteous empowered choice to counter the disembodiment, disempowerment, and destruction of sex trafficking. Sensuality and autonomy are showcased as sources of strength and resilience, as a means of resistance but also a pathway towards healing and reclamation. We are challenging the objectification and dehumanization in trafficking by affirming the inherent dignity and sovereignty of every individual.
